Aunt Susie travelled from Boston out to California for Thanksgiving. We all travelled up to Santa Barbara for Thanksgiving and spent the weekend with family.
The day started fof well with some Randy's Donuts from when I picked Susie up from the airport. Then Ellie helped make pie dough and rolls for dinner.
Once up in Santa Barbara Susie and my mom put together a great Thanksgiving Dinner included traditional side dishes, including Great-Grandma Kost's green bean casserole, which was a major hit with the VB family!
Nick actually continued his role as the Turkey Carver. There were actually very few leftovers, maybe a few sandwiches in total. Everyone ate their fair share!
