Then we headed to the zoo. What's a better thing to do on Mothers Day then spending time with the family at the zoo looking at baby animals with their moms? The LA zoo has a baby giraffe, which despite being over 6 feet tall and 150 lbs is such a cutie.
We then hung out at home making Popsicles and trying to stay out of the heat. We made grilled pizza for dinner and then I got a special present. Nick and Ellie know me very well and know what I love...although apparently someone in the house likes chocolate covered strawberries as much as I do.
